Mr Rashid Al Habtoor

Rashid Khalaf Al Habtoor is recognized as one of the United Arab Emirates’ foremost business
pioneers—a dynamic and influential leader.
Mr. Al Habtoor possesses an exceptional ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities,
establishing himself as a sought-after Strategic Business Partner. His expertise spans a diverse
range of industries, including Oil & Gas, Construction & Engineering, Automotive, Real
Estate, Information Technology, Software Systems, Facilities Management,
Communications, and Food & Beverage. Over his career, he has cultivated more than 100
partnerships and joint ventures with local and international companies, playing a pivotal role
in advancing the UAE’s economic development.
In recognition of his contributions to the business community, Mr. Al Habtoor has received
numerous accolades, including a Leadership Award from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce
and Industry. Additionally, he has been honored by the Dubai Business Council on four
occasions, with his most recent award celebrating his achievements in Strategic Partnerships
for the UAE’s developing economy.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Al Habtoor is a firm believer in the Greek proverb, “Mens
Sana in Corpore Sano,” meaning “A healthy mind in a healthy body.” Committed to fitness and
well-being, he maintains an active lifestyle, exercising daily. His passion for polo led him, along
with his brothers, to establish the Dubai Polo Club and the Habtoor Polo Club. He is also the
proud patron of the Al Mahra Polo Team. His family has been long-time sponsors of the Al
Habtoor Royal Windsor Cup in London, where he has played alongside esteemed figures such
as Prince Charles and Prince Harry. His polo journey has taken him across the globe, including
the UAE, UK, Europe, USA, Switzerland, and South Asia.
While Mr. Al Habtoor is renowned for his astute and fair business acumen, he is equally
celebrated for his philanthropic efforts. A staunch advocate for community development, he
actively supports local initiatives while nurturing international charity organizations, embodying
a commitment to creating a positive and enduring impact on society

Dr Abhishek Verma
Indian Patron, RKL
Dr.Abhishek Verma was born in 1968, in New Delhi, India, to renowned parliamentarians Late Shrikant Verma and Late Veena Verma. He graduated from Hindu College, Delhi University and obtained a Master’s Diploma from Georgetown University, Washington, DC. In April 2024, he was conferred a Doctorate of Philosophy by Maryland State University, USA.
In 2021, Dr.Verma was awarded the ‘Maharashtra Samman’ by the Governor of Maharashtra State, India. In 2024, he received the Mahatma Gandhi Award from British Members of Parliament in London, UK.
A Billionaire philanthropist and the Chairman of The Private Office of Verma Family, and Dr.Verma oversees the family’s global investments in several public and private corporations and manages family’s global philanthropic activities through Shrikant Verma Trust.
Dr Verma is the Chief Patron of Real Kabaddi League since its inception and is the guiding force of the League.
